What You Can Expect From an Initial Consultation

An “initial consultation” will be our first meeting together, or phone call, and will help us get to know each other a little better. 

We will discuss your goals (I may ask you “why” a bunch of times to reaffirm those goals), exercise history, nutrition and diet history – what has worked for you and what hasn’t, ways in which you manage stress, interests and hobbies, family, and occupation. It’s basically like a date. We will get to know each other quite quickly and be able to tell if we are a good fit for each other.

I have found that building a trusting relationship with a client is a crucial part of the equation in order to successfully achieve their health and fitness goals. This relationship building starts during our first conversation together and is always growing.
